DXC set its selection bar before picking a model — governance by default with every action traceable, production over pilots, returns measurable decision by decision — and built Assure, its own insurance orchestration platform, on Claude over about a year. Claude runs in each of Assure's layers: document intelligence that classifies a claims document in under a second, workflow orchestration, purpose-built Smart Apps for single jobs like first notice of loss, and a compliance layer that logs who decided what so a regulator can reconstruct any decision. Work is routed across model tiers, with frontier models reserved for hundred-page claims files.
