AppFolio's Realm-X Assistant, an in-product copilot for property managers, started on LangChain for model interoperability and then moved to LangGraph once the team needed to aggregate responses across nodes and run independent branches in parallel. LangSmith carries the quality side: production feedback charts for error rate, cost and latency, automatic feedback triggers when a user submits a Realm-X draft, and dynamic few-shot prompting that lifted text-to-data performance from roughly 40% to 80%. Evals run in CI, and code merges only when the thresholds hold.
